The Medicool ManiVac™ is a compact, modular vacuum system designed to remove harmful debriding dust at the source while you file. The quiet system with only a 53 dbA (Decibel Rating) provides quiet suction with minimal noise.

Built for chairside foot care. Thick, dystrophic and problem toenails throw dust and debris as you work — the ManiVac captures it at the point of contact.

This version ships with a 36-inch rigid Loc-Line hose system instead of the articulated hose fitted to the standard System 2X. The hose is also available on its own.

Both ManiVac Systems meet all current U.S. State Regulation as a "Source Capture System" capable of exhausting not less than 50 cfm per station. (Our systems are 120 cfm, capturing even more dust particulate and odor.)

What is the difference between this and the standard System 2X?
This one comes with a 36-inch rigid Loc-Line hose. The standard 2X comes with the articulated hose system. Everything else — the source-capture performance, the filter, the main unit — is the same.

Can I buy just the hose?
Yes. Choose the Hose Only option if you already own a ManiVac and want to change over to the rigid Loc-Line hose.

What does "source capture" mean?
The suction sits at the point where you are working rather than filtering the room afterwards. Debriding dust is drawn in as it is created — 99.99% of particulate down to 0.02 microns, at 120 cubic feet per minute.

How loud is it?
53 dBA — quiet enough to hold a normal conversation with a patient while it runs.

Does it meet state ventilation requirements?
Yes. It qualifies as a Source Capture System under current U.S. state regulation, which requires exhausting not less than 50 cfm per station. The ManiVac moves 120 cfm.
